Editorial policy

Publisher & editorial responsibility

WINE, LIVED is an independent English-language magazine about wine as culture, explored through people, land and ideas. It was founded by Olga Shigina, who serves as Editor-in-Chief and Publisher. She is responsible for the magazine’s editorial direction, story selection and final publication decisions.

Editorial approach

Our stories draw on research, named sources and the author’s own experience where relevant. We distinguish factual reporting from interpretation, personal observation and imagined scenes. Significant factual claims and quotations are checked against reliable sources, with primary sources used wherever possible.

AI tools may assist research, editing and visual production. Editorial judgement and final approval remain with Olga Shigina. Generated or reconstructed imagery is identified as illustration and must not be presented as a documentary record of real people, places or events.

Independence & disclosures

Story selection and editorial conclusions remain under the Editor-in-Chief’s control. Any sponsored content will be clearly labelled. Commercial relationships, affiliate links, supplied samples or hosted travel that are relevant to a story will be disclosed alongside it.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error, please email winelived00@gmail.com or use the “Write to Olga” form on our About page. Include the article link, the passage concerned and any supporting source. Substantive factual corrections will be explained in a dated note on the article. Minor spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a separate note.
